That your soul wants the freedom to sing, dance, love.
As your body needs nourishment - food, drink, sleep, so does your soul need nourishment - sing, dance, love. Life is not all work, work is not all hard toil. Nourish your soul with the food that is right for it, for it is the altar of your own inner temple.
The Thessalonians have left us a powerful example. May we all decide to work on these four simple points so that we too can become noble examples of faith.” These four points can be summarized as follows:
1) “welcome Jesus and embrace him more each day”;
2) “don’t let the hardships of life take away our joy” and “persevere in faith”;
3) “share the gospel, with love and kindness;” and
4) keep our eyes fixed on heaven, long for Jesus’ second coming, and “look forward to the end of time, when heaven will be ours”.
Hugs tell us many things; that we are loved, that we are important, that we are valued. This message is a little hug from God telling you all those things. Enjoy it, be blessed by it and try to figure out a way to hug God back.
Sometimes, it isn’t really the place, the event, the food, good music, not even the time.
It’s the person you are with that turns the moment entirely different, from ordinary to special…
